How to prevent industrial ceiling fan motor failure?

Although the life of the motor is generally about 15-20 years, because the motor will be affected by electricity, magnetism, heat, vibration and temperature, humidity and the surrounding environment during use, the life of the motor will also be greatly changed. The life of the motor largely depends on the user's maintenance, for industrial large ceiling fan manufacturers and users, proper maintenance of the motor can prevent motor failure.
First of all, in order to prevent the failure of large ceiling fans, industrial ceiling fans need to check some mechanical conditions when they are installed. Even if the motor is well aligned when installed, various factors can cause misalignment during operation. If the motor itself starts to make some loud or strange noises, you can turn it off and use a simple straight edge to verify that it is parallel aligned; Use a retractable gauge to check the mounting Angle for deviation.
Secondly, maintaining good lubrication of industrial ceiling fan motor bearings can prevent motor failure. Bearing failure is the main cause of motor failure, and the user can lubricate drive end bearings and non-drive end bearings according to the manufacturer's recommended grease type, using the correct amount and spacing. Before adding grease, make sure the grease block is clean to prevent contaminants from entering the grease.
Finally, for the motor, check whether there are obstacles in the exhaust fan inside, and ensure that no debris enters the fan cover at any time. For the electrical problems of the motor, you can use a multimeter to verify the voltage between phases of the motor and check the balance voltage. In the case of motor power failure, you can also check the winding resistance of the motor. The motor should have a balanced interphase resistance. If the motor of the industrial ceiling fan is very hot, the motor needs to be cooled for a period of time in use; If the resistance is not balanced, it is necessary to use some tools for dielectric testing, of course, it is better to check the test by professionally trained personnel to complete the maintenance procedure.
